Colin Starken – Senior Project Manager
Colin Starken has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry in both the UK and Ireland. Throughout this time he has been involved in delivering a wide range of major projects including the Athlete’s Village in Stratford for the 2012 Olympics. Colin has achieved Considerate Constructor awards and several projects and is a keen advocate of the scheme. Colin holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Nottingham Trent University and is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of Queen’s Wharf.
Dean Wingfield – Senior Site Manager
Dean Wingfield has been in the construction industry for 14 years, predominantly in the London Area as well as periods in Cambridge, Ipswich and Vast areas of Kent. Schemes he’s been involved with have been a 750 unit regeneration of an area in Hagerstown, Hackney which had a range of apartments as well as 3 & 4 storey town houses and a community centre. A 1000 unit scheme in Barking ranging from concrete frames to 3 and 4 story town houses. Over the past 3 few years he has been based in either west or south west London, with jobs that have gained NHBC and Considerate contractors awards. Dean Has a HNC in Construction and the built environment a city and guilds in Plumbing and heating as well as business study accreditation.
Alun Thomas – Construction Director
Alun has 24 years of construction and development experience and joined the Mount Anvil team in June 2013. He is responsible for the delivery of a number of our schemes. He joined from Taylor Wimpey where he was Project Director for a number of key joint venture schemes. Prior to that he worked for Berkeley Homes and Barratt Homes. He holds a degree in Construction Management from Anglia Ruskin University and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building.
Mari Chisholm - Community Liaison Officer
Mari joined Mount Anvil in January 2016 having worked for a local authority and subsequently working for Berkeley Homes (North East London). Whilst at Berkeley, Mari led the divisions Charity involvement which included organising corporate and local charity and community events including fundraising for and participating in an artic biathlon in Kiruna, Sweden, for which £30,000 was raised. Mari has a Bachelors Honours degree in English Language and Linguistics.
